COVID-19 Health & Safety Update

Luther Rice Family,

The Luther Rice family would like to announce that our campus is open! Your education, along with your health and safety, is a priority here at Luther Rice. That is why we are taking the necessary precautions to provide you with a safe campus experience.

In response to COVID-19 and the risks associated with infection from COVID-19, Luther Rice has developed a mitigation approach to provide a safe and healthy campus environment. Ongoing surveillance of the pandemic and the risk that it poses to our campus and community will guide our decisions regarding Luther Rice employees’ and students’ in-person or remote status.

Luther Rice has always been a leader in online education, and we did not skip a beat during the difficult times of the pandemic. We have invested heavily in online education over the past 10 years to ensure that you the student receive the greatest quality education from anywhere in the world.

And now, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us on campus at 3038 Evans Mill Rd. Lithonia, GA. Our normal business hours are from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M., Monday through Friday.

We ask that all employees, students and prospective students, and visitors, enter through the main entrance of the Williams Hall Building for participation in the COVID-19 self-assessment screening.

COVID-19 self-assessment entails taking your temperature and answering the following questions:

  1. Have you had close contact with any confirmed source of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
  2. Have you had a fever of 100.4 or greater in the last 24 hours?
  3. Are you currently experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms?

If your answer is no to each of these questions, you may enter campus buildings. We ask that you wear a mask and continue to observe social distancing practices.

If your answer is yes to any of the screening questions, do not enter campus buildings and seek medical assistance from your local department of public health or call the COVID-19 Hotline number at 1-844-442-2681. We can serve you remotely by calling our information desk personnel at 770-484-1204.

We certainly understand that your daily life has been impacted by this virus and stress comes along with that. However, please know that our faculty, staff, and administrators are working diligently to ensure that your experience here at Luther Rice is always an efficient and rewarding experience.

We take your education very seriously. You have trusted us with educating you with regard to your calling. Thank you!

If you need to talk with a member of our staff, faculty, or administration, please email or call us. We are ready to help. God bless you!
