Dr. Arnett grew up in South Mobile County, Alabama.  At age seven he trusted Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.  After graduating from William Carey College (now University) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Master of Divinity with Languages degree, a Master of Theology degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in New Testament and Greek with a minor in Old Testament and Hebrew.  Arnett has served in churches as a youth minister, music minister, and senior pastor.  He joined the Luther Rice faculty in 2004.
