Tony was saved at the age of twelve and called to preach at the age of thirteen. He served as a minister of youth in churches early on in his ministry. Tony planted Pickett's Mill Baptist Church in Dallas, GA in 1992 and served there for over twenty-four years. Since 2016, Tony served as a transitional pastor/interim pastor. He has been married to Cheryl for thirty-five years and they have a son, Zack, married to Madison and a daughter, Bree Simmons, married to Phillip.
