Financial Aid Calendar

Summer 2026

  • April 14: Book vouchers open for use at Akademos.  Students may request a voucher by submitting from their Luther Rice student email addresses the following two pieces of information.  Requests should be emailed to FinancialAid@LutherRice.edu.
    • Student ID
    • Number of summer classes
  • April 27:
    • Recommended date by which to have 2026-2027 FAFSA completed for summer term*
    • Recommended date by which to have Tuition Assistance Program application completed for summer term*
  • May 25: Start of summer term
  • June 1: Book vouchers expire
  • June 26 (estimated): Federal loan and grant refunds processed for students through BankMobile
  • August 3:
    • Recommended date by which to have 2026-2027 FAFSA completed for fall term*
    • Recommended date by which to have Tuition Assistance Program application completed for fall term*
  • August 9: End of summer term

*Students must be accepted into Luther Rice before a financial aid application will be processed.

 

Fall 2026

 

  • July 30: Book vouchers open for use at VitalSource.  Students may request a voucher by submitting from their Luther Rice student email addresses the following two pieces of information.  Requests should be emailed to FinancialAid@LutherRice.edu.

    • Number of fall classes
  • August 10:
    • Recommended date by which to have 2026-2027 FAFSA completed for fall term*
    • Recommended date by which to have Tuition Assistance Program application completed for fall term*
  • September 7: Start of fall term and fall mini-term I
  • September 14: Book vouchers expire
  • September 25: (estimated): Federal loan and grant refunds processed for students through BankMobile
  • September 28:
    • Recommended date by which to have 2026-2027 FAFSA completed for fall mini-term II*
    • Recommended date by which to have Tuition Assistance Program application completed for fall mini-term II*
  • October 26: Start of fall mini-term II
  • November 1: End of fall mini-term I
  • November 13 (estimated): Federal loan and grant refunds processed through BankMobile for students enrolled solely in fall mini-term II classes
  • December 20: End of fall term
  • December 14:
    • Recommended date by which to have 2026-2027 FAFSA completed for spring term*
    • Recommended date by which to have Tuition Assistance Program application completed for spring term*
