Tuition

Choosing a college or seminary is an important investment, one that should reflect both academic quality and wise stewardship. At Luther Rice, our competitive tuition rates are intentionally designed to provide a high-quality, biblically faithful education that is both accessible and transparent for students called to ministry and the marketplace.

Luther Rice charges oncourse-relatedleted tech fee of $190 per course, with no additional institutional fees. This clear and straightforward structure allows students to plan confidently and focus on their calling rather than unexpected expenses. Regardless of the number of courses you take, the tuition rate remains the same, providing consistency and predictability throughout your program.

*When comparing schools, prospective students should also confirm whether institutions charge different tuition rates for part-time versus full-time enrollment. At many other institutions, part-time tuition rates can be higher than full-time rates. Because many Luther Rice students balance coursework with ministry, work, and family responsibilities, part-time enrollment is common, welcomed, and never penalized financially. 

Tuition & Fees 2025-2026 (all for-credit courses are 3 credit hours except for Doctor of Philosophy programs.  Doctor of Philosophy program courses may range from 1-3 credit hours)  

Miscellaneous Fees

*Luther Rice does not make available any housing on-campus or off-campus for students.  Therefore, room and board costs are not listed.  All of the costs at Luther Rice (except textbooks) are clearly listed above.

Textbooks

Luther Rice utilizes a third party company Akademos for all textbook services for students.  Click here for more information concerning purchasing textbooks.  Per the most current Cost of Attendance calculation, textbooks range in cost from $161 to $290 per class (depending on program).  Books can be bought new or used depending on availability.

Auditing Courses

$100 per course, non-credit 

On campus courses and hybrid modules only. Online courses cannot be audited. Audited courses cannot be converted into academic credit at a later date. To audit a course contact the Registrar's office at registrar@LutherRice.edu or 770-484-1204 ext. 5753.
