The Georgia Scholar Award
The Luther Rice Georgia Scholar Award (GSA) is an academic merit-based scholarship available for eligible undergraduate Georgia residents who are HOPE (click) eligible (3.0 GPA or higher). Luther Rice Georgia Scholar Award scholarships are offered to eligible applicants who have demonstrated outstanding academic success.
Annual scholarships range from $1,500 to $4,000 based on high school GPA, full-time/part-time enrollment status, and availability of funds.
*Scholarships are evaluated for academic compliance each term (HOPE Scholarship eligibility and Satisfactory Academic Progress) and renewed automatically if met*. If the scholarship is lost due to noncompliance, cancellation will be effective immediately. A student is allowed one appeal.
Luther Rice Georgia Scholar Award scholarships do not apply toward Certificates.
