JJ played college football at North Carolina State from 1999-2003, and he accepted Christ there in 2001 and surrendered to a call to ministry. Since 2003, JJ has served as a children’s pastor, youth pastor, assistant pastor, and campus pastor. JJ currently serves at the Georgia Baptist Mission Board on the church strengthening team as the Evangelism Catalyst. He loves preaching and sharing the gospel! His hobbies are training in his kids in their sports careers, making home videos, vacationing with his family, and watching football. He and his wife, Tamara, have two children.
